There is an important update for employers with staff covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, which will impact the rate of pay for some Award-covered employees.
Pay rates for some employees under this award generally increase twice a year. The next increase will occur on 1 December 2017, and is effective from the start of the first full pay period after this date.
This increase only applies to employees who fall under the Social and Community Services and Crisis Accommodation streams. Pay rates for employees who fall under the Home Care or Family Day Care streams will be unaffected by this change.
