Employers’ compliance with workplace laws on the rise

A recent campaign conducted by the Fair Work Ombudsman has found employers are becoming more compliant with workplace laws relating to record-keeping and pay slip requirements.
The Fair Work Ombudsman audited employers who had previously breached record-keeping or pay slip requirements. 74% of businesses are now compliant.
Employers need to ensure they know their workplace obligations and put processes in place to ensure ongoing compliance.
Fair Work Ombudsman, Natalie James, said it is vital employers adopt the appropriate record-keeping practices and fulfil their pay slip obligations.
