Whs Regulation Change in Nsw – 2017 Now in Effect

Published September 04, 2017 (last updated February 9, 2023) - Head of Health and Safety
WHS Law changes being explained

Please note that the information provided below is relevant as of 04/09/17.

Recent changes have been made to the NSW Work Health and Safety Regulation. These are generally only minor administrative changes, and there should be no difference to the day to day WHS considerations in the workplace.

The only action which needs to take place is to ensure documentation refers to the 2017 Regulation, not the 2011 Regulation. For those clients involved in demolition work, please note that although the 2017 Regulation does not cover demolition works, you must continue to adhere to the requirements in the 2011 Regulation in relation to these works.
