Pastoral Award Changes

A number of amendments have been made to the Pastoral Award, which will come into effect from the first full pay period starting on or after 15 February 2016.

  • Clause 45.2(d) confirms special crutching rates are calculated by reference to the rates in clause 45.2(a)
  • The definition of broadacre field crops in clause 3.1 has been amended to include more generic definitions of crops, which is more reflective of current farming practices
  • Clause 45.8(f) has been amended to reflect the fact that the woolclassers allowances formula contained in it is applicable to woolclassers whether or not they are remunerated by piecework
