Business Health Check Consultant | Workplace Consultant – North Island

Our Business Health Check Consultant (BHCC) conduct preliminary compliance audits around employment and safety practices for Employsure clients to identify the best Employsure package. They use their commercial and technical skills to engage with business owners around their needs and make the appropriate recommendations around their long-term Workplace Relations & WHS requirements. The BHCC team are a field based, highly mobile, highly autonomous team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to utilise their strong Workplace Relations and Health and Safety knowledge and apply these skills within a sales environment. While the day to day work in this role will be a hybrid of sales and service, this is ultimately a sales position so the successful applicants must be comfortable and confident to have sales conversations and have their salary largely linked to a commission structure.

Having the opportunity to review workplace practices with our clients, gives you an unmatched ability to make a significant difference in the way in which our clients operate their business. You will be comfortable with the current workplace relations framework in New Zealand and Health and Safety legislation.

Key accountabilities.
• Travelling to SME sites every day to assess their current Workplace documents and practices to identify gaps and issue then demonstrate how the Employsure service can resolve these
• Building relationships and creating yourself as the subject matter expert for all thing’s Workplace Relations & WHS to our clients

The right person will have:
• Tertiary qualified in Human Resources &/or Health and Safety
• 12 months experience working within an HR &/or Health and safety environment
• excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• full, unrestricted NZ driving licence
• be able to travel from time to time and work autonomously
