James has over 10 years of experience in the field of work health and safety. In this time James has held the position of Site Safety Coordinator on the Northern Territory Secure Facility (NTSF) construction project in Darwin. NTSF was a $500 million construction project completed by the Lend Lease and Sitzler joint venture. James was employed by the principle contractor to provide direct supervision and contractor management for the project which, at its peak, had a workforce of 1,000 workers per day.
James is an experienced Work Health and Safety Consultant, specialising in general health and safety advice, and occupational hygiene services. His experience comes from working with small to medium organisations in a range of industries, to large government organisations such as the Department of Defence and the Power and Water Corporation.
James’ practical experience includes developing and reviewing work health and safety management systems, safe work method statements and other risk assessments, direct safety training and consultation.
James’ experience is supported by a Master of Occupational Health and Safety and a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science).
