Employsure have been recognised for an exceptional culture and outstanding work across diversity and inclusion, access to technology, and recruiting and onboarding; in a total of four categories in the annual HRD Employer of Choice Awards.

HRD’s annual survey, which rates Australian organisations from the perspective of their employees, assesses a wide range of key areas, from remuneration satisfaction through to leadership effectiveness, and overall engagement.

Employsure, a fast-growing organisation with over 600 employees across two markets in just nine years received the Bronze medal for Employer of Choice (500+ employees) and was also recognised as a top performer in the Recruitment and Onboarding, Diversity and Inclusion, and Access to Technology categories.

The Head of Talent at Employsure Michael Morris said it was, “An honour to receive the recognition from a rigorous judging process by a panel of HR directors from some of Australia’s most successful organisations.”

When discussing the secret ingredients to reaching an employer of choice status, Morris says it’s about, “Ensuring our people have the best experience from the moment they join us to be highly engaged, have the best tools to get their job done, and be passionate about what we do is central to our employee value proposition. These accolades highlight Employsure’s unique ability to attract and retain the best people in today’s competitive job market.”

“We work directly with employers, HR managers and HR professionals every day, which gives us great insight into why people seek a new employer. We are constantly reminded of the importance of employee engagement and positive workplace culture; and what that means for business success.”

“We’re passionate about our employee experience, rewarding the right behaviours, celebrating diversity and providing meaningful work. For this to result in recognition as an Employer of Choice is an added bonus.”

In the last five years, Employsure was named one of Australia’s great places to work, received Growth Company of the Year for three consecutive years, listed 8th on Financial Times Fastest Growing Companies, recognised as having the Best Reward and Recognition Program in Australia, and one of few companies to make it on the 2018 Aon Hewitt Best Employer list. Further, Employsure have been recognised by Glassdoor as the highest scoring Australian based employer by employee feedback. Morris says, “We’re stoked to hang another series of accolades on our wall and see these wins as another feather in our cap.”

“I would like to personally thank HRD Magazine, my peers in the Talent team and most importantly the people that make Employsure for this recognition. Victories like these gives us the inspiration to continue our work to make Employsure better for us, and better for our clients.”
