New Standard Terms – FAQs

  • Why are you changing your standard terms?

We are changing our standard terms to achieve greater consistency across our client base and to provide more flexibility for those clients whose business situation has changed. We are committed to assisting small businesses and believe that the amendments to our standard terms are fairer and easier to understand.

  • Can I now terminate my contract before the end of the contract period?

Yes, there is provision to terminate your contract before the end of the contract period subject to the relevant termination clause. If you are experiencing hardship or financial difficulties, you can also contact our Client Experience team on 1300 651 415 or email [email protected] to discuss other options.

  • Can I now terminate my contract at any time without further cost?

No, as stated in the new standard terms, you will be able to terminate your contract after the first full year of your contract by paying an early termination fee of 30% of the remaining contract balance. If you wish to terminate this contract before the first full year of your contract, you will also be required to pay the remainder of the first year’s fees.

  • Why do I have to pay a termination fee to cancel my contract?

As you may appreciate, Employsure incurs considerable costs in onboarding clients and in the delivery of our service. A termination fee is intended to enable us to recoup set-up costs and losses on the contract.

  • Will my monthly fee increase at renewal of my contract?

No, our new standard terms do not include any clause relating to price increases upon renewal. This will apply to all clients that accept our new standard terms.

  • What if I do not want to accept these new standard terms?

Please contact our Client Experience team on 1300 651 415 or email [email protected] and they will note your preference to remain on your original terms.
